Jigoku Shoujo

Anyways...it took me a week to get this one done...

My first trial was an error as I used crayons and color pencils and pencils to blend all 'em in. I gave up on the first one and made a second one. Go back to the traditional method of pencils...

It was easy at first but getting down to her eyes was kinda tough. I tried using several eye designs on her to fit her for the expression. It took me four to five times just for the sake of her eyes...in the end...I stick to my own style...the ones that I always used.

Now...the plants with cherries on it...represents the place where she stayed...its always sunset and the cherries are were fruits that she always loved.

The background...the logo is a three in one kind of thing.

It represents the moon. She always comes out at twelve midnight to get to her clients who access the Jigoku Tsushin at that time of the hour. As you can see...the moon itself has a particular shape.

That shape...represents the mark that will bear by the clients as a result of using her straw dolls. As what she said in the series, "When one vengeance is carried out, two graves will be dug. And once you pulled the red string, you will make as a compensation to me. Once you do, your soul shall wonder in darkness, pain and not knowing paradise and will be in hell. But that will happen after you die."

Basically, the logo only comes out once her clients pulled the string...and will stick on the clients chest forever.

The Kanji words inside the moon. Now...the Kanji words itself is the title of the anime...Jigoku Shoujo.

I only noticed it after I scanned it out. The mid tones on her face was not really done well enough...meaning to say...still does not look that smooth yet...due to often rubbings...
